Babes Cabaret - May 10th early evening visit

I was in the area so decided to stop by Babes. The first thing I noticed is that it's a very, very nice club inside. The chairs are nice, the club decor feels cozy, and there are flat screen TVs everywhere showing music videos of the songs that are playing.

This was an early evening visit - around 6:30pm, on a Saturday - and despite sticking around until nearly 8pm, the place was pretty empty. Amazingly, there were only three girls working when I got there, and there were only a couple more by the time I left. When I was leaving, the hostess assured me business generally starts picking up around that time, and gets busy past 10pm, so if you're going to swing by it might be best to wait until later.

The girls take turns on the stage even in the afternoon, all doing full-nude routines. The stage, which is T-shaped with three poles, was very large. The pole work was OK but nothing special. I would say the girls were closer to 5's with maybe a 7. Girl quality was a bit higher when I left, but not by much. Hopefully it's better later at night. As with many other all-nude clubs, the girls today were all natural - no enhancements.

I'd also add the short side note that, unfortunately, the hostess (playing doorman - or is that doorgirl?) was smoking hot. It's always a shame when the hottest chick in the place isn't dancing.

Anyway, I inquired as to pricing and was quoted $30/song full nude lapdances, and VIP rates of $100 for 15 mins or $150 for 30mins. I took one of the nicer girls back. She asked me to buy her a drink (nonalcoholic pina colada) and it cost me $10. VIP area is nice, with several booths with sheer curtains. I wasn't really a fan of the booths having mirrors all over the wall, or the red lighting, which was brighter than I like.

Contact in VIP was very good, although as with many of these all-nude places that trend to younger dancers, she wasn't a very good dancer and not really in tune with what I wanted. But what really bothered me was that the dancer wouldn't let me touch her, saying it was against the rules. This is apparently a club policy, because the other girl I took back to VIP said the same thing. This was a real deal-killer IMO. Maybe we just get spoiled by SR or OG, but really - it's one thing to have a no-touch policy on the floor, but having a no-touch policy in VIP is ridiculous. For that reason, I wouldn't go back.

Additionally, both girls were pretty pushy about tipping. One of the girls asked for $50 tip straight up, which I felt was a bit heavy for a 15-min session that only cost me $100. She said that Babes doesn't take a house fee, so said that of the $100 - which I paid to the manager at the bar - she will get less than half. If this is policy, then expect to be hounded for tips.

However, I think this place is really good if you're just going to watch the stage work. The relatively low cover, cozy and nice decor/environment, and large stage area, not to mention the club not being in as shady an area as some of the other all-nude clubs, could make this a winner for those who want stage work. But VIP, while cheap at face value compared to other all-nude clubs, turns into a poor value considering the tip-hounding and not being able to interact better with the dancers.

The lap dance is the real killer though! I too am spoiled by OG, SR and Sapphires so as much as I like watching the all nude action, I'm always hesitant about the lap dances at the all nude clubs. I would be pissed of if I paid a 100 to follow a girl to the vip rooms and then found out that a seat belt had been strapped on me.
